Abby has always had a love for music. She enjoys singing all types of music and she loves to sing with her friend Lorie " GiGi" Abby has always been an adventures girl. She enjoys everything from drawing, camping, riding bike, and playing football. Lori has a great love for music and enjoys preforming. Lorie loves nursing and her best friend and husband Luther.
Naomi (17) and Nathaniel Smith (13) have been playing Bluegrass together just under a year. They are just two siblings in a family of 10, where their 4 younger siblings are blossoming Bluegrass players themselves. Naomi has been playing guitar for 4 years, but within the past 11 months have fallen in love with Bluegrass and adapted her style to fit the genre she was playing with. After being enthralled with Bluegrass at the same time, Nathaniel was determined to pick up the banjo. 11 months later, and he's plucking the banjo morning, noon and night! Together, Blue Rapids has played multiple sets at Stone-city General Store & Pub and the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market, along with many open mikes and jam sessions at Bluegrass Festivals.
